Consecutive Interpretation
Consecutive interpretations are usually performed in smaller settings than conferences, and it’s mostly used at drafting committees, bilateral negotiations, interviews... etc.
The speaker will present a few sentences before pausing and, thereafter the interpreter may render the interpretation into the target language. Only one certified interpreter is required for consecutive interpretations. |
