Transcreation is the process of having marketing material translated, then localized and finally copy edited. Essentially, it is the process of having marketing material translated into a target language and ensures that the original message is not only conveyed accurately, but that the original mood and feeling of the text are kept. Transcreation is a much more creative processes that just a plain translation. Transcreation translator's must not only be expert translators, but also keen marketing professionals.
